i play football at a high level and ive been asking a lot of people about how to be strong on the ball,by this i mean not get pushed around and barged,now i think i should do weights mainly focusing on my biceps and my arms,but other people are saying its about the core meaning my chest my body and abbs what do you think?i play football at a high level and ive been asking a lot of people about how to be strong on the ball,by this i mean not get pushed around and barged,now i think i should do weights mainly focusing on my biceps and my arms,but other people are saying its about the core meaning my chest my body and abbs what do you think?

your arms would basically just help you barge other people. I'd suggest working more on your legs chest and core to get a better centre of balance, squats and leg presses are very good.
