It's not about scoring tries, man. It's the effort that's been put for a try. Let's say for example (not flattering you or anything) that you just fended a few defenders and made a big hit on a prop and having to pass the ball because you're tackled by the fullback ,to a teammate just a few meter from the try line. I bet your coach will definitely praise you more than your teammate who finished it. With you able to carry the ball more is already a big asset to your team. So keep on improving what you're doing and never doubt your own abilities. And for tries, you'll get your chance. What's matter is putting points on the scoreboard, right?
It depends on your team game plan and on your coach. If you move to 13 then you have to make sure that you become good and start. Maybe you get more carries because your role in the team is to draw defenders and create holes in the defensive line. I just say keep working hard and you'll get your glory. Normally the bigger wingers hit ( JP Petersen) and their smaller partners score ( Bryan Habana). Good luck
