What are tha advantages and disadvantages of playing rugby?

Advantages: * It is fun - more fun than a barrel full of monkeys, actually * Teamwork and mateship are unsurpassed * Less likelihood of prima donnas than any sport I've ever worked with (There are exceptions of course, but they often do not last) * Great physical exercise * Wonderful combination of serious technical skill and exuberant physicality * If you stick with it you will have lifelong friends, and some will be in other countries as you have traveled or they have done Disadvantages * Risk of injury (usually minor, but ubiquitous) * Takes a long time to learn in detail because it is so technical at every position * Initially attracts some goofballs who think it is all about being "tough" or about what fabulous studs they are -- but thus gets sorted out pretty quickly * Requires serious commitment of time and effort to train, both on ones own and as part of the training and development system Mark L.

Pros The girls will think your manly It is really good fun Keeps you fit Cons You could possibly get injured seriously

You can "feel a man"

advantages are it is a whole bunch of fun and you will get to meet a bunch of new people and, will learn team work at a whole other level. disadvantages are there is no protective equipment which means the risk of injury is much higher but that just add to the fun meaning your tackling ability will get much better then just playing other contact sports like football
