With the dominace of Irish clubs in the Heineken Cup...?

Do you think that it should be renamed the Ireland Cup?

England is divided into 12 clubs with each only having a few if any internationals, there is also the juggernaut known as Rugby League which takes most of the players from Yorkshire, Lancashire and Merseyside. Ireland however is based on the geographical region of Ireland and so includes UIster/Northern Ireland. The Ireland internationals are split between Munster, Ulster and Leinster, so fewer clubs means more internationals for each club. Anyway I doubt you will have been asking for it to be called the English Cup when Wasps and Leicester were dominating it.

It will be interesting to see which nations clubs catch up. The way I see it, Leinster will stay dominant for the next few years until their veterans retire. Even then, they will still be competitive. Ulster are on their way up and will continue to improve. Munster look to be lagging behind because they are relying on older players too much, but we will see what they can do. If they can bolster their squad with young talent, good luck to any other nation's clubs! @WRU Ref - France have won it 4 times in 9 years...

I do like that but the tide will turn.

edinburgh surprised everyone the most by beating the no. 1 team in france, in that case it should be renamed the Edinburgh Cup

If it is, shouldn't the Six Nations Trophy/Grand Slam title be renamed the Wales Challenge Cup? Be nice for another team to make a serious effort at winning it 3 times in 9 years! @TJD Can't add another answer to this thread so will have to do it via an edit. France have won a Grand Slam 4 times in the last 9 years have they? That's news to me! They've won the Championship that many times, but not the Slam, hence my question!
