I find it hard to choose a "best" region as none of them have performed that well, how our national team performs so well is beyond me considering the performances of the regions. Following yesterdays cup finals day at the Millenium stadium where two Valleys teams won their respective finals and the third valleys team lost by a solitary point, it is about time that the WRU got their heads from out of their underpants and not only backed a fith region but funded it to the same level as the other four under performing regions, More competition would help develop more players, you get better by playing better opponents
I love the Scarlets, Ospreys have been quite poor compared to last season
the Scarlets finished the highest of the Welsh regions but I still think they're behind the Ospreys. The Scarlets were hammered by everyone in the european cup. Simon Easterby is still a new coach though so we'll see next season whether this Scarlets team are as good as their league position suggests.
