Do rugby players earn enough for a lifetime of what happens afterwards? they surely can just sit around. im asking about the top rugby team

Before the game went pro many of the athletes had second jobs! Now they go on to do a whole host of jobs from journalists and commentators to coaches as well as other roles, for example Josh Lewsey worked for a time in the city as a trader!

Unlike in professional football, rugby players are generally only paid around £70,000 pounds a year, and that's at international level. This is partly because rugby is less popular than football, but also because professionalism (i.e.getting paid) was only introduced to rugby in 1995. After they stop playing rugby, players often go on to become sports writers, coaches, commentators and other similar jobs.

Some become coaches, pundits, journalists and agents

A lot of rugby player usually go on to become coaches.
