Help with rugby tackling?

I'm not talking about proper technique, I know how you should tackle. My problem is confidence and execution, I have no fear in rucks or mauls and carrying but I find it hard to make a few decent tackles. I had that happened to me a few times until I realized that consciously and subconsciously you don't want to hurt your body. But once you get over this fact and not worry about your body, but worry entirely about committing to the tackle you will makes your tackles with such confidence and won't have any problems with making any tackles

I used to have this problem as well, my team were playing in the Essex cup and we were winning 16-15 and we would of made history by being the lowest ranked team to make it to the semi's when I accidentally flopped a tackle breaking my neck and the other team scoring a try to win I got rude words shouted at me racism and I didn't come for a year (my neck) and when i returned no one talked to me not even my coach then the coach of the first team came up to me and gave me inspiration and aggression to think about all the hate i got and when i got on the pitch i had one aim to break a neck now that sticks in my head all thanks to my team mates

Confidence is so very key in tackling, and it's actually normal to be quite scared if its a fast, 6'0 Prop running at you, if you know that you can go for the tackle and retain the confidence when going into it you can make the tackle and land him on the ground. Tackling is my favourite thing as a Fullback and everyone loves a bone-crunching tackle!
