I'm thinking of finding a large local club to join probably rugby league if available when I have to leave uni. do they still do regular joint socials with other sports clubs do you lose anything that you have In uni. A club is usually a much more laid back set up than a uni side. You'll have guys from all sorts of occupations and ages. It makes for a much more balanced view of life when you have doctors, dentists and solicitors having an after match pi55 up with council bin men and factory workers. Absolutely no snobbishness. Everyone is part of the club. Unlikely to have joint socials with other clubs but why would you need them?
