Im small and everyone else on the pitch are the tall and big lads and last year when i started playing for RGC South, i wasn't very confident but now i make sure i stay low in defensive takles and then run through them on a attacking stance! Im very confident with myself now!!!
The thing is in rugby size doesn't define how well you are, as long as you wrap low while on defense, and stock to instincts while playing offense you will be fine. Honestly when playing rugby bigger guys are easier because they are easy to get around and get down, while the smaller they are the more elusive and agile they can be. So honestly don't let your size define yourself on the rugby field it's really all about having the right attitude.
