Is there a &kicker& in rugby?

I kick for my high school football team, and I was thinking of doing rugby for a year. However, I don't really know if I have many other skills than kicking, so I want to know if there's a dedicated kicker in rugby?I kick for my high school football team, and I was thinking of doing rugby for a year. The main kicker on the team in Rugby is the fly-half. Usually this player will take the kicks at goal, into touch and just generally clearing the line. Full backs often do kicking as well, but it's normally the fly-half's job to kick. You will have to be good at passing and tackling also, and sometimes you might need to take drop goals. If you really want to be a kicker, then this is the position for you.
