American football is not rugby I have seen both and play rugby nothing alike I have friends that play football too way diffrent rules biggest one diffrent sized field # if people on field football has 12 rugby has 15 the way you set up a field too and diffrent equipment football you have a lot including helmet mouth gard sholder pads and more rugby only has a mouth gard nothing alike and I play in Canada us rules for football and uk for rugby this is high school my school has boys football team girls rugby team
