My coach won't let me move position?

I'm 16 and currently play flanker. Not long ago I asked whether I could move to centre which was my old position which I was good in. But when I asked him he said that I should stay at flanker because I'm a good tackler, good in the line out. So from then he's just kept me at flanker. What do I do? :/I'm 16 and currently play flanker. Not long ago I asked whether I could move to centre which was my old position which I was good in. Play flanker. That is where you are needed.

If your Coach reckons it's best for the team if you play at flanker then it's probably best if you do. In the mean time keep working on your kicking, high-ball catching, etc. so that if you get the chance to show your skill in the backline, you'll be fine.

just play flanker let me tell u something my coach has said numerous times that the flankers are the hardest working players on the field cuz u have to be to play your position well he dosent only say this to the flankers ither he says it to everyone on the team so if he put u as flanker then play flanker he wouldent put u there if u wernt good at it the team that I played on had 2 flankers other people filled in when needed but u could tell they dident have the work ethec to do what u need to as a flanker so just play its hard to play flank and to be good at it is even harder im 15 almost 16 and play flanker im the tiny but am able to intimade them after a couple plays mabey 10 min after this they took the blind side 95 % of the time because they dident want to be tackled by me and when some of them are twice the size of u this isent easy to do and if u can it makes your job a lot easier
