Its my birthday in a couple of days and my dad wants to buy me new rugby boots. he doesn't know what to get me, and either do i. can someone suggest the best boots for me? im a second row for my county (somerset) and number 8 for club. im quite fast, i can do the 100m in around 13 seconds. im 6ft2, 80kg, and i play a running game. lots of ball in hand, handing off and the occasional side step (or attempt of an sidestep, normally just a change of direction) but i also am quite physical, so i like to be in the rucks and mauls etc. . . sorry for the spelling mistakes and thank you if you help me!Its my birthday in a couple of days and my dad wants to buy me new rugby boots. he doesn't know what to get me, and either do i. can someone suggest the best boots for me? im a second row for my county (somerset) and number 8 for club. im quite fast, i can do the 100m in around 13 seconds. im 6ft2, 80kg, and i play a running game. lots of ball in hand, handing off and the occasional side step (or attempt of an sidestep, normally just a change of direction) but i also am quite physical, so i like to be in the rucks and mauls etc. . . sorry for the spelling mistakes and thank you if you help me!

Fit is far more important than make, and no two style of boot fit the same pair of feet in the same way. Any reputable brand will do -- the key is to take the time and trouble to make sure that they fit properly. Visit several retailers and take the time to have the staff fit you properly. Then you can select the pair of boots which suit you the best.

in my opinion puma kings are a great boot for back row players.
