Binding in rugby union scrum?

When playing loose head prop in a scrum does your left arm have to bind under the opposite tight heads arm or can I go over his arm so it makes it a real b**** for him to bind on to me so his power/stability is compromised. Of course I'm binding to the back of his jersey and not exerting any downward pulling. (I don't play dirty, I play competive)When playing loose head prop in a scrum does your left arm have to bind under the opposite tight heads arm or can I go over his arm so it makes it a real b**** for him to bind on to me so his power/stability is compromised. i tend to bind under the arm of the opposing prop, normally the tight head as i play loose. i try to get a long bond as i can pull my shoulder in with more power. you really have to vary the way to bind against every prop you play as we all play differently as im sure you know.
