Depends if the Brumbies retain the same players and coach for next year. You're right about Lealifano being a big blow for the Brumbies. By getting injured earlier this season -- just maybe had he played last week against the Blues --- the Brumbies might have been playing last night against the Sharks instead of the Reds. No reason the Brumbies cant be finalists next year -- they are on the right track. Actually, if you look back at the last 5 or so years, you will find the Brumbies have missed the semi- finals through a lack of bonus points rather than a inferior win/loss record --- I wish they would get rid of the bonus point system in super rugby.
The way the Tahs pack shunted them around the park in the second last game, White needs to do a lot for the set piece. Do this and they may well be a chance. Palmer and Moore are worth their spots in the tight five.
