Does Johnny Wilklinson have any chance at making the Lions?

Not really. The man is 34. Despite his recent performances (and Farrell's stumbles), at this point in his career, Wilkinson ranks behind Sexton, Farrell, Flood (and maybe Biggar) for Lion's eligible players at 10. It's tough to see how they can find a spot for him. That said, I would be very pleased to be proven wrong.

Probably not. they'll probably pick Sexton and Flood. However, any injuries on tour to the 10s or 12s and they'll call him up.

Even at 34 years of age he is still a world class fly half. Just for his experience he would be an asset for the Lions tour of Aust. btw- If he is picked he will be the only remaining 90s International rugby player to be still playing International rugby in 2013 --which would be quite a feat.

I'd say yes as a bit of a wild card choice. Remember that Lions tours nowadays aren't like they were years ago. There are only a few games before the test matches. Wilkinson gives Gatland an absolutely known quantity and proven match winner.

He absolutely does. Keep in mind the lions is just a test series. You aren't thinking about development at all. If that is the case, he is probably the best 10 in europe on today, april 25th. Sexton has only been back from one game, farrell hasn't performed all that well lately. Flood wont even be considered. I suspect he rightfully should tour. (im an irish fan too keep in mind)

I Don't like Him :(
