I train tues and thus rugby normal training bit of fitness press ups and stuff with some tackling and lines out ect.... But my question is when is the best times I can put in some gym time on the weights ? Is everyday training bad for you I know gym is weight training and rugby training is like fitness/strength training but would like you helps guys please? Mon - Gym Upper Body Tues - Training Wed - Gym Lower Body Thu - Training Fri - Rest Saturday - Game Sunday - Power Session (What ever weight you are doing in the gym usually drop down a considerable amount and up the reps and only do 3 upper body and 3 lower body then do some light plyometrics and sprints) As long as you eat well and get plenty of sleep on a night this should be fine.
