Everything to know about being a prop in rugby?

okay, so i'm a 16 year old girl, weight 125 pounds & i'm 5'7. I really wanna start playing rugby and I find being a forward funner then the rest. a lot of people say id get crushed. I'm much stronger/aggressive then people think but I'm not sure if this is the right position for me. any suggestions on what I should do?okay, so i'm a 16 year old girl, weight 125 pounds &i'm 5'7. Sounds like you should play either lock, flanker or eight(woman) 125 is a good forward weight for female rugby in my opinion, a lot of my female friends that play weight around there. You might wanna leave prop and hooker to the heavier girls however, as you probably aren't as bulky as them. If you're really good with tackles, you might wanna try flanker (like me!).

don't worry, there are so many girls out there who hate prop. your physicalityt LOOKS don't matter. I coach the middle-sex county team for u16;s and our best prop isn;t big at all.
