Eye Gouging in Bulls vs. Crusaders?

I did not see the incident. The claim of eye gouging is pretty serious. Did anyone see it or have any insight?

I would be shocked if someone from the Crusaders deliberately eye gouged a player it is just not in their make up. I am not saying that the people involved are telling porkies there might have been contact with their eyes just not on purpose and given that there has not been a thousand replays already I would say it is a load of crap. What needs to be dealt with is the clean out method of grabbing a players neck/head and twisting it at some ungodly angle to cause the player to lose balance and collapse on the ruck. Every team is employing this tactic and will cause a major injury if left unchecked.

@Taraboy, ah of course, the Crusaders are all angels mate. The Crusaders like ALL teams are just as guilty as the next team when it comes to bad play. All claims must be investigated, and properly. Chilliboy had a scratch close to his eye, so something happened. Some teams and their supporters love crying foul, when incidences like this occur to them, but its a big hush up or down-played when their teams are guilty of worse !

Bulls need to build a bridge and get over it.

it was one of the crusaders players tried it on chillyboy

it was probably one of the bulls eye gouging their own player

Just going on the press reports, no one saw it except the player concerned and he didn't complain, he got two team mates to do that. Unusual because eye gouging has been mainly a trait from some S forwards.
