Good workouts for rugby?

I plan on playing rugby in college which is two years away so I have ample time to prep and get in shape. I'm about 5' 9" or about 175 cm, weigh about 165 lbs or 77 kg, average speed and average strength, so you are pretty much working with a blank slate. I would prefer a position in the back, such as winger or half back, that deals with handling the ball, so I need your help in finding a good workout to increase speed and agility as well as any other attributes that fit the profile. Along with the workouts some dietary advice to help minimize fat content and help build muscle would be very much appreciated.I plan on playing rugby in college which is two years away so I have ample time to prep and get in shape.
