Start playing club rugby if u haven't already. When there r county tryouts, go. When there is regional try outs, go. If u have talent, u should be able to make it. Every position requires different skills and strengths. For example if u play fly half, work on your passing and kicking. If u play wing, work on your speed. Also, eat loads n pump weight. Ever since rugby went pro, the standard has risen so u don't get 11 stone wingers like u did back in the day
there are academies big ruby unions usually have them, but they are really hard to get into, Go to a school with a great rugby program and join a good club practice really hard if you don't get scouted then play for a great university. most professional teams get their players from universities and sign very talented high school players. Most of these players then make their way up through the unions age group teams.
