honestly not much specially if you get in contact with your local council. you may need to pay for kit, but if you contact the council you can probably get access to a pitch for free or significantly reduced price. also it shouldn't take too long as most union clubs/players are willing to play league after union season is over. Warriors, crusaders,chargers. (feel free to favorite my answer) good luck :)
Price would depend one where you want to place the club, how good or simple a club house you want (a good club house you could rent out for functions) pay for coaches, groundsmen, gym staff ( if the club has it), equipment depends on where you buy from and how much, and the most expensive aspect Players *yay* they would need to be paid quite well so not to leave the club for another and to make them attend training (pay according to everyone unless you have internationals) however if you had a spare ￡300,000 - ￡1,000,000 you could get a decent club going with a good- great club house depending on location and you can make revenue by having junior teams eg they pay you to play or expanding into other sports too, eg football pitches, GAA and cricket i you get a few creases so yeah high investment at the start but you could make it back if you had a good club house and a good few junior teams part 2 I don't need to start one I'm a member of one :P and I love it.
