How to be a good Scrum-Half in rugby?

Hello, I am 14 years old. I currently play hooker for my school and outside centre for club (a weird combination I know) but I long to play scrum half. I have a decent pass but my left hand could use some work and my ball carrying and box kicks are decent. I just need to know what I can do to be a cut above everyone else. I also would like to trial for my local county team but I am not good enough yet. Thank you xHello, I am 14 years old. Hey Maxwell. If you look at the top scrum halfs in the world (Will Genia especially) you will notice that there are 3 main areas which he is incredibly good at. They are distribution, putting others in space and making breaks round the fringes. Practice makes perfect, it took me around 3 hours of continuous passing off my left hand to get it good. Trust me, it works. I suggest you watch YouTube videos of top international scrum halfs, watch what they do and then practice it yourself.

Scrum-halfs are normally shorter than average and they need to be able to pass quickly and accurately also they need to be quick. They don't really need to be strong but it helps for the tackles I suppose:)
