The sooner you start the sooner you will learn. Think of how much you could have learned by the end of this season, think how much better you will be for next season by the experience of training this season already? all you have to remember is, kick and run forwards but always pass the ball backwards. As for finding a club, look up your national association online, and send them an e-mail asking for a list of clubs in your area. My girlfriend played in Australia and they had a thriving competition. Any club listed by a national association should be a worthy club. Try visit more than one club so you can find one that feels right for you, enjoy, and good luck!

Learn what you can as soon as possible, and ask to join when you are ready. I did the same with soccer when I knew nothing about it. I learned as much as possible then joined, just be in shape and be ready.
