Least potentially dangerous rugby position?

Hi, I'm a high school girl trying to convince my mom into letting me try out for the girls rugby team. The coach and I get along very well, and there is a high chance that I will make the team. However, the only problem is, is that my mom feels that rugby is too dangerous for me to play, and I am hoping that there is a way for me to convince her into letting me play, by suggesting a position maybe? If you have any additional advice, PLEASE TELL ME!!Hi, I'm a high school girl trying to convince my mom into letting me try out for the girls rugby team. You get hurt playing any position least likly position you will get hurt playing would probably me fall back as you tend to get tackled less then the other backs hope she lets you play high school girls rugby is a lot of fun I love it

Any where in the front row really, just remember to bore in and drive straight up or down and you'll be fine!

I would think winger or scrum half depends how agressive you are in playing and it depends on the teams structure (moves)

Well... they all have their dangers. I guess you could tell her you want to play fullback - but it does entail catching high balls with people bearing down on you so....
