Hi I'm wondering how to get into pro sevens? I'm quick run 100m in 10.85s and got good feet and I always wondered how england sevens players got to where they are because obviously with 15s players play in academies and get noticed through county too, I will hopefully be playing in the London floodlit sevens this year but my dream is to play for england sevens P.s sorry if I sounded cocky when I said I'm fast etc but I just wanted to get across my strengths. Word gets round about good young players. Club coaches talk to each other. Senior players recognise a good kid and talk about them. Scouts come and watch them. If you're good enough you won't have to do a thing. Clubs will approach good players after the scouts have taken a look and invite them to come in for a trial.. There will be scouts watching county trials. It's all done anonymously. If you haven't heard anything you're simply not as good as you think you are. If you don't even get to a county trial you can forget it.
