How to improve my rugby passing?

Posted at: 2014-07-08
Hi, so I want to improve my rugby passing and I have only had about 4 lessons and I am really bad. I practise at the park after school and all that and sometimes my dad will come and help me but are there any good tips on how to spin the ball and keep it so it spins straight? I know it takes time and patience but I just need some more tips as most of the times it just spins all over the place. Anyone helpful tips?Hi, so I want to improve my rugby passing and I have only had about 4 lessons and I am really bad. Spin passing isn't everything and it inst necessary the whole time but if you really want to improve it then the first thing you should get right is the grip. with the right grip as you go through the motion of passing the ball the natural alignment of your arms should place spin on the ball so there is no need to force the spin. once u got the grip then all you need is the accuracy and power. aim for the receivers chest and try to place enough power on it so it travels in a flt line with no arc on it for maximum efficiency. All i can say really as it kinda came naturally to me. Hope this helps

I am sorry to say that only practice will gain an improvement. Few people possess the gift of a perfect pass from day one. Even top class players make a rick of it under pressure. So fret not, just keep at it and it will become natural. Like riding a bike.
