If you're good enough to turn pro you'll be an absolute stand out player at a D2 club. Word will get round and people from the pro teams will come and watch you. Without you knowing about it. If the scout thinks you're good enough you'll hear from the pro teams. If you're not clearly way better than everyone around you you're not good enough to turn pro. The fact that you've heard nothing says you're not as good as you think you are. There's a world of difference between the pro ranks and workaday club teams.
