Remember that Argentina is probably also the venue of the RWC 2023. United States also bid to host the tournament with Canada.

For 2023 I think if Ireland was to host the worldcup it would be co-hosted with England.

the junior world cup has been held every year since 2008 and Ireland have consistantly finished in 8th or 9th place so it doesn't look like there are many good Irish youngsters coming through.

I think Ireland is part of England so they don't have a separate team.
