Should I go out for rugby?

Posted at: 2014-07-08
I'm 15 and in 10th grade. I'm not sure what my height is but i'm shorter than basically everyone else. I'm very skinny, and for most of the time I am 100lb but sometimes I am just under. my teacher says that there is a spot on the team for all body sizes and that if i wanted to be a part of the team i could always be one of the girls who runs around everyone else but i'm not that fast of a runner and i am not strong. the girls who are in grade 11 and 12 say that they were my size when they started and they are completely fine but i'm really not strong. I really want to be on the team but I really don't want to suck at it. Help?I'm 15 and in 10th grade. I'm not sure what my height is but i'm shorter than basically everyone else. Your not going to know your strengths unless you try out. You can't let these circumstances bring you doubt because at the end of the day their just going to play mental games with you and than your going to start believing your flaws and not perform the way you would like. It will be daunting to see people that are better than you, but remember the only way to improve is to practice and have the tenacity to excel. If your really eager than why shy away, that will only bring you regret. All you can do is try your best and if that isn't enough than at least you can say you gave it your all. Good Luck
