Should I play rugby this semester if I can't play in games?

I played rugby last semester, but transferred to a school with no team. I decided to try to play at a neighboring school, but was told I was only allowed to practice with them. I also plan on transferring to this school sometime next year, so I would be able to play in matches eventually. Should I practice even though I cannot play? Or should I just wait til I can play in matches next year? I can't decide if it would be worth it.I played rugby last semester, but transferred to a school with no team. If you really enjoy playing I think practicing is a great idea and that way when you do actually transfer to the school you will already know some of the players and know how the team plays and what they expect of you and what position you would be playing or would be up for.

No harm in training, if you let go now then wait till next year, your fitness could be worse. Knowing your future teammates now helps not just for rugby but for social things off the field. Plus you'll be prepared for what's to come and what's expected of every player that goes and plays. Good luck!

practice makes perfect bro. if you don't keep it up you may as well injure yourself now.
