What counts as Under 17?

ok I play rugby for my club and I'm not sure it's it's 17 and under or below 17

Well the specifics might vary depending upon the local union, but generally it means that no player on the squad may be turning 18 during that calander year, or during the course of the season if the season overlaps into the next calander year. For example, here in Ontario (Canada) our season runs from May through October. This means that this year, a U17 player must have been born in or after 1996.

Usually this means you have to be under 17 on a specific date, normally at the start of the season.

Then ask them. If its say Under 17, then thats anythuing up to the age of 16. 17 and below is anything up to the age of seventeen.

U17 means 17 and below I played U12 soccer when I was 12 now I play U16 soccer and am 15

Check with your club. I play for under 18 and im 18 in a couple of months. They usually set a month and date to let you know which age group. Just ask them. In most cases. If your seventeen well then they will let you play under seventeens-

This is a bit of a confusing question? I guess you mean what ages they fall under? 17 and under: 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, etc Below 17: 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, etc

Well its UNDER 17, meaning i believe anyone at the age of 17 or higher is excluded. Does it say 17 and under, or under 17?
