I have about 3 years of experience yet im still confused about my position. I currently play second-row. My first postion was prop but that was only because I was tall. I'm 5ft 8 weighing 72kgs. I have good speed for my size (Second fastest in the team!) I can play fly half (ONLY when needed) as i can pass, kick etc very well. 5ft 8 is not very tall for a second row, so not too sure what your coach is thinking there....If you're fast pass and kick pretty well I would put you as a fullback, or because you shorter (no offence) you could play at scrum half.
Scrum-half for sure
If you are fast and can run a long time without getting winded, winger might be a pretty good position for you.
