Why is Quade Cooper and Radike Samo not in the Wallabies team ?

Cooper has attitude and behavioural problems that interfere with his performance as *a member of a team*. In particular, this is the view of Robbie Deans, and for better or worse, he's the Big Dog. But be of good cheer, with head injuries to Lealiifano and Barnes (and possibly also a neck to McCabe), Australia is almost surely going to have to go back to the well for replacements. You simply cannot have flankers playing centre. As reported, Lealiifano was knocked out, and although he returned to the pitch before the end of the game, the IRB and Australian protocol will pretty surely keep him out past next Saturday. Same is almost surely true for Barnes - and he has a history of head injuries,so the scrutiny will be even greater. Samo is a different issue. His natural position is blindside flanker, where Australia does not need him. He could fill in at 8-man, but again, that was not a really glaring weakness (imo). He does not match-up well against the Lions loosies. I suppose he might move up to the bench, but it does not seem to me to be Australia's issue. Beale to start at 15; O'Connor to 12. Cooper in at stand-off. And they had better move the personnel ASAP so that they have a full week to do something about preparing the new alignment. Longer term, Australia still needs to do something about generating a reasonable pool of test-level front-row forwards. I mean being able to select from about 6 who can be relied upon to play 80 minutes of technically sound and hard-rucking rugby so that you have at least 3 available every game, and those competing against quality alternatives for selection..

Didn't get picked in the squad as 'no good at international level only good at super rugby'
