it's so different from soccer and football. i don't understand hahaha btw i have no idea why my name is jesus freak... im atheist...

It's showing respect to the Kicker, it doesn't always happen though for example if it's a close match and a penalty kick to win it - The quietest I've heard/seen would be All Blacks vs Munster the most recent match the crowd was just wow! You could cut the silence with a knife. Funny you've only asked two questions in the space of two years and answered no questions :)

Easy. Rugby players aren't known for being too bright. Any noise during kicking would ruin their "concentration". I'm willing to bet they can't walk and chew gum at the same time either. LOL

Bah idk. Crowd involvement would be a welcome addition. The dead crowds do make games slightly duller. Booing, hassling, cheering, singing should be encouraged they should just know where to draw the line.
