Women's rugby for beginners?

I am going to join my schools rugby team and I was wondering what gear I would need, such as proper shoes, clothing, etc. If you could recommend some brands and different gear I would need that isn't too expensive but still good quality for beginners. Also if you could brief what I can expect in training, that would be great.I am going to join my schools rugby team and I was wondering what gear I would need, such as proper shoes, clothing, etc. If you could recommend some brands and different gear I would need that isn't too expensive but still good quality for beginners. Any boot's will be fine but I use patrick rugby boot's there cheap and reliable. You don't need any clothing apart from the kit they give you or you wear for normal p.e. You'll need a gum sheild I recomend shockdoctor it's as comfy as it gets for begineers. Aswell if you become a foward(they play in the scrum) you'll want a scrum cap most girl players wear them. Aswell it's optinal but you can get under armor but I personally find it pointless. Now in training they will teach you how to tackle then you'll learn to ruck. And next they will spilt the (back)fast and (fowards)the strong. Hope i've helped and enjoy it rugby is a great sport.
