It's not for 2-and-a-half years yet! Way to early to make any concrete predictions -- anything can happen. Favourites (as always) will probably be New Zealand, but many of their core players (McCaw, Carter, etc.) will be getting a little long in the tooth. Any of the other usual candidates (England, South Africa, Australia and France) will have a reasonable shot. Ireland, Wales and maybe even the Pumas as well.

The All Blacks will start favourites. Then maybe Wales, Argentina. Love to see the Wobblies get there but with Deans in charge they should make the quarters.

Has to be New Zealand...BUT... they were well beaten by England...who were in turn thrashed by Wales... so it could be quite open. The truth is, any of around 6 teams could take it... I leave it to decide which 6.

New Zealand, Australia, England, South Africa, France, Wales.. The others might prove to be a challenge, but will not be capable of winning the cup. (note: Australia, England and Wales are in the same pool so one of them won't even make the quarter finals!)

it too far ahead to start talking about who could win it. If the world cup was this summer, I'd pick New Zealand, Wales and England as my top three. By the time the world cup comes round, Australia, South Africa and France may be back up at the top of the world rugby.
