i have such fickle handling, some days i have a great hands with no unusual drop balls, but on some days i couldn't catch a cold. i had a game ounce where in the first half i dropped every single pass except one. and had to move to flanker for that game. on some days i have great handling (i caught an ankle pass and offloaded to a winger whilst falling-he scored) any help/adcice?i have such fickle handling, some days i have a great hands with no unusual drop balls, but on some days i couldn't catch a cold. i had a game ounce where in the first half i dropped every single pass except one. and had to move to flanker for that game. on some days i have great handling (i caught an ankle pass and offloaded to a winger whilst falling-he scored) any help/adcice?

the best tip I was ever given to improve my handling was to make sure I watched the ball all the way into my hands. Sounds simple but it is so easy to think you've got it, look up too soon &you drop it. Next time you train/play just think about that every time the ball comes to you. You can't do anything with the ball unless you catch it so make sure you complete the catching process by watching it into your hands before you try to do anything with it.

Practice a lot. Throw the ball up in the air and practice catching with yourself. Also play catch with others, then switch to running and catching, and try inventing your own catching exercises. Also maybe try getting rugby gloves.
