How do you tackle a player in rugby league?

I'm making the switch from Union to League and have been given the number 13 shirt this season (loose/lock forward) depending on where you're from. However, in Rugby Union players are taught to tackle around the legs in order to play at the ball on the floor, but in League I'm lead to believe you are expected to tackle around the ball in order to slow the tackle down. I'm not the biggest of players but have decent technique around the legs, and this position means that I will be looking to top the tackle count most weeks around the middle of the field. I love the defensive side of the game but I'm not sure on the technique I should be looking at really. Thanks in advance.I'm making the switch from Union to League and have been given the number 13 shirt this season (loose/lock forward) depending on where you're from. In rugby league you tackle abit higher (so there is no offloading) when you tackle you take them too the ground , what to do is hold them on the floor till the referee shouts 'HELD' then you are a marker (:
