im assuming/hoping you know the basics of rugby i.e. the rules. If you are trying to learn how to play in an actual game, sign up for a team and start training, if your a university student at that height and weight you could play in the forwards, as in a flanker, not a prop. If you've got the speed and footwork though, you could be used in the backs as in a centre or fullback. I wouldnt have a clue at what schools play it though. Hope this helps. Good luck.

1. It depends on the position. Forwards are going to tend to emphasis power, and in particular core strength, while backs will concentrate more on speed and agility. All will do cardio and sprint drills. But these are only generalizations -- in rugby each player must fill pretty much every other role on occasion. Anyway, do some research -- there are plenty of training programs available online. 2. Definitely among the backs. But rugby players don't have "builds" -- there is a position suitable for every body type. Based on your size, scrum half, fly half or winger, depending on your speed and the kicking and handling skills you are able to acquire. 3. Pretty much all of them. 4. Go out to your local club. There is a rugby club in pretty much every community in Canada (Toronto has at least a dozen) and all are happy to train new players.

blm has seal the deal add: most of the Canadian universities have rugby teams
