Yes i live in england and are a massive welsh rugby fan, its a great exciting physical game to watch and anybody that gives it a try watching or even playing will enjoy it. In England it is a major sport like football, even i here could teach you the rules it wouldnt take me long, i think you should give it a try and you will get into it. BBC does hold some matches but also premiership matches are also held on the sport channel. If you want a great place to start, you can start watching rugby when the british lions tour takes place. Go on the internet and research the british lions tour 2013 get dates and information on it and settle down with a few snacks and watch it over the summer. :)
look up the rules of rugby and im Shure there will be a page that says the rules and then just watch it and play it to help you learn the rules. also look at the leader boards to learn who the good teams are.
watch on bbc youtube have all matches read the laws of the games this is a must
