After practice or match, first take a pain reliever, put ice on it 15 min, then take a hot bath to relax the muscles and then ice it again from 15-30 min.This will help the inflammation (which is the cause of the pain) go down. Just try not to take pain relievers too often as they may affect your liver. Hope that helped!

Stretcth, ice, rest.

DEEP HEAT

Taking ice baths work, also epsom salt baths and advil do the trick.
