Hey I am from Australia and I play rugby union, I am fairly new to the sport (2years) but I love it. I'm slightly above average but not good enough to play in the top team at club for my age I play in the 2nd team. Anyway I used to play cricket and I know there are opportunities to play cricket overseas in England Scotland as i was offered but decided againts them as my heart is no longer in cricket.. and they help with you flying over and set u up with a home and some work! I have a British pastport so I could easily work for visa and stuff but I was wondering if there are oppatunites for someone like me or do I have to be extremely good to play rugby overseas!? Thanks in advance, liamHey I am from Australia and I play rugby union, I am fairly new to the sport (2years) but I love it. I think there's trials held every year during the summer time and you are free to go to one. I'm not sure if you have to be a member of local rugby club or not though. Probably. If your good enough then you could move up but I defo think this takes time. Just look up the Irish rugby footbal branch website or the English one and it should give you info about it and if not I'm sure they have a contact email where you could email them about it.
