So I am a very little female, and I'm 20 years old. Too tiny to play rugby? I know the answer's almost definitely yes but I want to be tougher and stronger. Also, I'm a runner and I can run about 5 miles. So I am a very little female, and I'm 20 years old. Too tiny to play rugby? Actually, the answer is no. Your size is ideal for a scrum half. Being tougher and stronger certainly doesn't hurt, but a large person is actually incapable of playing the scrum half position well. It's too difficult for a larger person to get down under the ruck to pull out the ball. Absolutely, go for it!

no definitely not, being small dosent matter much at all unless you plan on being a forward, some of the world greatest rugby players have been small, George Greagan for example

Your age would be a concern depending on where you live. In the U.S.? We aren't very big in rugby, so it's not set up llike a lot of the world. I know a lot of 20 year olds who are just starting to play. As for other countries, I don't know, I don't live there. Best of luck

Of course your the right size and any size is right. But the problem is your age im guessing female rugby is the same but you need experience because a over 18 team will be in a league and will already have a team. But try though

I don't believe size determines sports abilities. Obviously in some situations and sports it can give an advantage, but if your good and have skills at a certain aspect in the game, you should have as much as an opportunity as anybody. I say go for it!
