Is it normal to support another country?

I am from australia and i love rugby(union)but i dont support the wallabies i instead support the welsh, is this strange?

No problems. I support the Wallabies but having been born in Scotland I have a soft spot for the Scots as well. If the Wallabies aren't playing, I'll support the ABs.

Town - Province/State - Super Rugby Team - Country....that's the order!! If you move towns/cities/states/countries then you should support your new local team too - BUT NEVER when they play your home original team! Once you've got that sorted then you can start ALSO loving average Northern Hemisphere teams from half way around the globe...HOME first though.

I know several people who are South Africans that go for the All Blacks instead of supporting the Springboks. It is your choice who you support, but me being a born kiwi, naturally I always support my country and the All Blacks :)
