i just got into football(soccer) and rugby and i dont know the teams is it just countries like England and Irish or does every country have different teams

Well there are country teams but there are also club teams in a country. For example the super 15 which has 15 teams 5 from each country. The counties that compete are South Africa, Australia and New Zealand but the teams are from different cities in the country.
