Technique tips to remember for rugby tackling?

Any tips on technique of form would help

My rugby coach always told us to stay low, wrap your arms just below the hips and use your force and bring that person down! Don't do high tackles good chance you'll get called for it ad possibly either get yellow or red carded! Hope this helps :)

Always tackle hard and don't stop pushing until they fall. Tackle between their stomach and knees and squeeze their knees together when you tackle. Do the cheek to cheek technique so it means when you are tackling make contact with your cheek to their butt cheek (weird ik) to avoid a knee to the face. Use your legs and upper body to push!! And remember to dig your cleats into the ground for traction to help you grip the ground to push easier. Even if they are running straight at you don't he scared to run straight back at them, get low and tackle around their thighs or knees and keep pushing until the fall to the ground. Hope this helped! -Arianna

watch this it thought me how to tackle and its made by the best tackler of all time

My father always told me, your arm and shoulder is a gate. The forearm and upper arm are the gate that lets people through, while the shoulder is the fence post that holds it all together. Whether you're tackling with left or right shoulder go around their hips and try to have your cheek to their *** cheek and wrap around the back of the legs and drive/take them down. With a good strong shoulder they wont get it through it at all.

Tackle hard and low(chop tackle) it's very useful when tackling big players, and stops forward momentum.
