Of course. There are 5 Australian clubs -- Melbourne Rebels, Queensland Reds, New South Wales Waratahs, Brumbies (representing the capital region) and Western Force -- in the SANZAR SuperRugby (or Super-15) competition. There are also 5 clubs from New Zealand and 5 from South Africa in the same competition. The last Australian team to win the competition was the Reds, in 2011.
There are a number of rugby competitions. The Super 15, the two major club competitions in Sydney and Brisbane plus many country and other state competitions.
