I'd say it would be a social function organised by a rugby club or similar type entity where players/ex players and their partners/would be partners/partners for the night/partners for a bathroom tryst get mindlessly drunk, generally have a good time and hopefully don't get arrested or do to many things their friends will never let them forget.
