Well that depends.. are you speaking about the props, hookers and second rowers? Or are you speaking of only the shredded back players such as sonny bill W? I think it'd be due to rugby back players generally have more muscle and are s toned as football players or close to. They're also normally taller.. but once again you say "rugby players" so i'd have to ask are you also talking about the less chizzled props? i doubt it! plus the culture around rugby is i generally find better along with rugby players attitudes, they mess around more and are funner
what football are you talking about? Soccer? Australian Rules Football? American Football? Either way I think you're talking about backs who never have to do anything, forwards often have battered heads that look like dropped pies. In Australia a lot of rugby union players come from expensive private schools so they come across as more intelligent.
